Indian HALAL FOOD!! 12+ Elite Indian Dishes at Akash | Miami Beach, Florida

🔥 AKASH MIAMI BEACH: https://www.instagram.com/akashmiamib... 🎥 WATCH: Elevated INDIAN FOOD You MUST TRY at Moksha Indian Brasserie | Fort Lauderdale, Florida: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DyN3... 👕 DAVID’S BEEN HERE INDIA SHIRTS: teespring.com/stores/davids-been-here My miniseries of epic Indian restaurants in Miami continues as I take you with me to have some delicious halal food on Miami Beach! Join me on a mouthwatering Indian halal food lunch at Akash in my hometown of Miami! Akash is the best Indian restaurant on South Beach and focuses on upscale Indian food, especially lots of northern Indian dishes. They also have southern dishes. I couldn’t wait to try some! Inside, the restaurant is white and blue—it reminded me of Santorini! I met with Govind, the owner, who told me they were making 10 dishes for me, including a unique masala crab cake! In the kitchen, they were cooking up delicious-looking veg samosas, lamb vindaloo, onion bhaji, fish Madras, tandoori shrimp, goat curry, tandoori lamb chops, chili-garlic naan, Kashmiri naan, and more! They also have two tandoor ovens: one for meat and another for bread. Everything looked incredible. The aromas were blowing my mind! Back at our table, we had over 12 dishes and some Kingfisher beer, which we started with. It was nice and refreshing! It’s made to pair with curries. We started with chicken lollipops, which come with a Szechwan Indo-Chinese sauce. It was incredible, and the gingery and garlicky sauce was unreal. Next was fish Amritsari, which Govind added some lime to. It was like fried fish fingers! Then, we jumped on the onion bhaji, which comes with tamarind chutney and a minty green chutney. You dip it into both. The sweetness of the tamarind and the strong mint flavor complemented each other and the crunchiness of the batter! It took me back to Mumbai! Next was the Bombay special, a vegetable samosa. It was filled with potatoes and peas and was super crunchy. It was amazing by itself but even better with the two chutneys! The masala crab cake is a unique dish to Akash. It contains large chunks of crab and has a minty mayo and a sriracha mayo on top. It’s nice and tangy from the curry and is one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten! I loved it with the tamarind chutney, which paired so well with the fresh crab meat! I cleansed my palate with a creamy mango lassi and then jumped on the lamb chops, which were moist, super tender, and super flavorful. The tandoori shrimp were also phenomenal. The spices on them were out of this world! Next were two of the main courses: the chicken tikka masala and goat curry. We had them with Kashmiri naan, which is a little sweet because it contains raisins and coconut! I was in awe of it with the chicken tikka masala. The bullet naan, or chili-garlic naan was perfect with the goat curry. It was nice and spicy and melted in my mouth! You have to use the naan to soak up all the sauce! Our last two dishes were two southern Indian dishes: fish Madras curry and lamb vindaloo. The fish and coconut milk in the fish Madras were unreal. I mixed it well with my hands. It’s too good! The lamb vindaloo was also unbelievable! We ended with mango kulfi and a cardamom and saffron kulfi, which are like Indian ice cream. The mango was like straight up mango juice!
