It’s pretty weird. Small eyes are usually condescended and criticised as “ugly” in both genders. But at the same time, a lot of male models tend to have eyes that are small, squinty, narrow and/or hooded. They say smaller eyes means higher testosterone in men, and thus are deemed more ‘masculine’. Which reminds me, tough guys, at least those portrayed in film, tend to have narrow eyes as well:
Regarding females, small eyes can be beautiful on them too. They show maturity, austerity, seduction (i.e. “bedroom eyes”) and elegance.
As you can see, this post is proof enough that small eyes are far from ugly. Of course, anything that is too small or too big can be ‘too much’ anyway.
