What was the first moment in a movie when you realized you were watching a great movie?

I remember seeing No Country for Old Men in the theater when it came out. A few minutes in, Josh Brolin's character is running from the drug guys' pit bull. He runs into a small lake and the dog just bounds right into the lake and starts swimming after him. That was the moment I realized the Coen brothers weren't fuckin around.Another example is the shootout at Tech Noir in the first Terminator movie. I knew I was in for a helluva ride. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3htnOLX
