How Do People See You?
A TikTok hack, which claims to show you 'what you really look like', has taken the internet by storm.
The trick, which appears to have first surfaced on the video-sharing platform, claims to show you the most accurate representation of your own face when you take a picture.
According to multiple videos sharing the trick for taking selfies, holding the front camera to your face actually distorts your features and isn't actually giving you a clear representation of how you look.
Instead, if you hold your phone away from you and zoom in, you will look completely different.

One person commented, "LIKE WHAT I'm prettier than I thought." Another said, "It's because phone cameras have a wide-angle lens so the closer it is the more it will stretch the subject which in this case is your face."
