Blondes Vs. Brunette (Social Experiment)
Looks like blondes aren't having as much fun as we thought. According to a poll by IllicitEncounters, a dating site for extramarital affairs in the U.K., brunettes make better lovers than those with other hair colors. The site polled 1,000 men and women, and the results were interesting, even if we're not digging the whole dating-married-people thing.
Fifty-eight percent of the peeps polled thought dark-haired lovers were the best in bed, and blondes were rated as more likely to cheat. Redheads and raven-haired women were the least likely to stray.
Illicit Encounters told the Daily Mail, "There is no doubt that blonde women get more interest from men on dating sites. But they are not likely to make the best lovers and they need watching carefully because they could be dating someone else at the same time." Let's remind you that the site is for cheating and affairs, so, yeah. We're going to eye roll that one, not just because of the ridiculous language. (Watching? Really?)
But other recent surveys have found that men find brunettes more attractive, with a third going for brown hair, followed by redheads. A study by City University London some years ago backed this up, with most men opting for women with brown or red hair over blondes.
Meanwhile, if anyone need tips on how to properly date dark-haired women, there's this hilarious video the Navy put out in 1967 on the subject. Yep, tax dollars at work! But really, just be cool and, you know, try to avoid affair sites (unless that's your thing in which case, you do you).
