Is Harry Styles a Gucci model?

Harry Styles in Gucci Mémoire d'une Odeur - The Campaign Film

Harry Styles has always done things his way. His debut album, Harry Styles, was a breakaway from the One Direction hits that had helped him make his name, instead it was a rockier sound that played closer to his personal tastes. He eschewed a leading man role for his cinema debut and instead opted for a gritty ensemble part in the WWII (and now Academy Award-winning) epic DunkirkHarry's wardrobe has been less people-pleasing, and instead it's more pushing boundaries of what dressing for on and off the stage looks like right now.

And so, it's no surprise that his latest incarnation also feels true to everything we know and love about the 24-year-old. Harry Styles, Gucci model. It's another perfect match for the modern multi-hyphenate.

For some time he's been wearing Alessandro Michele's designs with flair, but this move takes the brand association one step further. Since he was spotted on set at a fish and chip shop in suburban St Albans in March 2018, rumours have been circulating that Harry was working with Gucci in a more promotional capacity.

Shot by Glen Luchford and art directed by Christopher Simmonds, in the eagerly-awaited Gucci Tailoring campaign, unveiled on 2 June, Styles models the House’s latest suiting designs by Alessandro Michele in and around a local fish and chip shop in North London. In one image, he wears a New Marseille jacket with an embroidered collar detail whilst carrying a pet chicken. In a second image, he leans against the shop window in a Gucci Heritage retro check grey three-piece suit, eating a packet of chips, accompanied by a dog. Be still our beating hearts.
