This is 100% going to sound like an old head take but I’m only in my twenties and these dollar theaters were a huge part of my childhood. These theaters were so great for those movies you didn’t want to pay full price for but still wanted to see it with the theater experience. I saw my first horror film, the first five MCU films and just so many weird selections the 2000’s had to offer in the comfort of the Bakersfield Movie 6 Dollar Theater.
