I was watching Reign of Fire last night and I couldn't help but burst out laughing at Matthew McConaughey's death. Quick recap:After getting his "army" and convoy blown up, Van Zan (McConaughey) thinks up this plan to kill the alpha male Dragon with C4-tipped explosive crossbow bolts. He proceeds to climb a tower (taking his shirt off first to show off his tatts and ripped physique), shoots the dragon with his crossbow but apparently misses the mark. The Dragon then swoops in and he pulls out this medieval battle-axe out of NOWHERE and jumps off the tower in an attempt to... smash it on the head? He is then eaten swiftly and dies.This dude touts himself as the "Dragonslayer", kills dragons with this meticulous skydiving team and has survived with a military convoy all this time, and he just offs himself by going full Leroy Jenkins with a battle axe.
