I went into this film having only seen “Snatch” (2000) by director Guy Ritchie, which was absolutely hilarious to me.“The Gentlemen” (2019) was a fun time, with an actual action plot.I love the stylish gangsters, and the constant British humor sprinkled throughout a blackmailing plot.I also appreciated that Guy Ritchie maybe directed Hugh Grant especially due to his narration, and other actors, to speak clear and concise. I think that really elevated the movie for me because I didn’t have to bend my ear or use subtitles to understand the dialogue.Guy Ritchie also used that classic Guy Ritchie directing style that we saw in “Snatch” (2000), with the quick cuts and such.Colin Farrell really stole every scene he was in.
