Kevin McAllister may just have THE shittiest family in holiday movie history.the siblings/cousins All assholes. Every single last one of em. They all suck. They all hate Kevin for absolutely no reason at all and give him shit for the entire duration of their screen time in both movies. Absolutely no character development whatsoever amongst them. None. Zero. Nada. They don’t change a t a l l. They are assholes in the first one, they are assholes in the second one, I’m sure if they made a third “all grown up” movie they’d still be assholes now. Rubbish.let’s talk about buzz specifically, shall we?? Yeah yeah, brothers fight and stuff, they bust each other’s chops, get on each others nerves, full 9 yards. But this guy is just simply a garbage human. He’s stupid. So stupid. And his only, and I mean only, place isn’t eh story is to make their already shithead family despise Kevin more if that’s even possible. Honestly, I think she’s is just too stupid to make any judgment calls about anything ever. A problem happens, and without actually reprimanding anybody or having any sensible discussion with her kids (and the problem 100% of the time it’s just buzz doing something stupid and petty and asshole-ish,) she pulls the whole “ let’s sit down this garbage dump of people in the living room while they scowl at my youngest for purely existing and I’m going to make them apologize to the entire family even though one of them clearly just tried to murder the other one or something like that and then they could hug it out or some shit like a Hallmark movie.” And it’s always something like “don’t you have something to say to this family you need to apologize to everybody” no you need to apologize to your brother for being a fucking failure asshole all the time and trying to ruin his life and then i’m gonna send you off to military school where you can learn to be somewhat of a decent fucking human being because you’re just that shitty. But no instead she’s like oh you both went wrong somewhere and now you need to apologize to the family in front of everybody. First of all the family has nothing to do with any of this and they don’t need to apologize to any of them, not even buzz because he didn’t do anything to the family he did something to fucking Kevin so he needs to apologize to Kevin because that’s how the average non-stupid human brain would operate. But no, “the boys need to apologize to the family.” Listen, your first mistake was marrying in to this group of dumb fucks and now you’re gonna make your kid who is probably may be the only not complete asshole out of all of them apologize to them for his brother just being a fucking hell raiser for no fucking reason? I don’t think so and we haven’t even got to the part where she leaves her child in a different state twice in a row and proceeds to joke about it in front of police officers. She made him sleep in the attic because he actually made a decent point in front of everybody about how buzz is just an asshole and Kevin should not need to apologize for what buzz did, and then she did that stupid Hallmark movie “thing about family and all that bullshit and then in the morning they get everybody out of the house, she never checks on her kid who is probably emotionally damaged as fuck, and they leave to fucking Hawaii or some stupid shit like that.I can go on and on about these people for hours especially that dumb bitch, but I can’t because I have a job to attend to. But I mean really, is this not the truth?
