Prophet jeremiah omoto fufeyin
Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin (born 15 February 1972, Burutu, Delta State, Nigeria) is the founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He founded the church on 3 April 2010.
Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin was born in Burutu, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria on 15 February 1972. He had his primary school education at Zuokumor Primary School in Burutu L.G.A of Delta State between 1981 and 1986. His secondary education was at Gbesa Grammar School Ojobo, between 1986–1992.
He is married to Anthonia Fufeyin and they have four children. He was born in a polygamous home and is the 22 child out of the 36 children sired by his father, late Livingson Stevenson Toboukeyei Fufeyin and Asetu.
Fufeyin has been criticized for his loud acts of charity, very public and showy focus on demons and "deliverance". Fufeyin has also being criticized of calling himself the first son of TB Joshua which he has denied vehemently saying he respects every man of God including T.B Joshua but he has never called himself the first son. Some call him Warri TB Joshua, Niger Delta TB Joshua, Ijaw TB Joshua. He rejected those names stating that he is simply Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin
On 1 April 2017, Fufeyin seemed to have defended Suleman Johnson against his sex scandal, describing him as "innocent."
PROPHET JEREMIAH OMOTO FUTIYIN (General Overseer of Christ Mercy land Deliverance Ministries, a.k.a. “The Tireless General”) on Sunday 14th February,2016 organized his 44th Birthday in the main bowl of the church Auditorium in Warri Delta State. Nigeria amidst pomp and pageantry with thousands of cheers from well-wishers in the congregation.
The ceremony which was beamed live on Mercy TV all mover Nigeria, Africa, Europe, America and Asia witnessed many happy birthday wishes sent across from the length and breadth Nigeria across the Continental shelf and all over the globe.
In the sermon titled, “The New model of Satanic Technology”, the popular Mercy TV Pastor informed the congregation and all viewers of Mercy TV that Satan is out to deceive the world with new techniques. He Argued that Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, Diarrhea, cholera, Lassa Fever ,Ebola , Zika Virus are all the manipulation of Satan.
Using Samsung Phones to explain how Satan changes tactics and techniques to make himself an agent of death .
He displayed the Samsung 3 to 7 which carries different facilities for fun and pleasure, but the main truth remains that they are all Samsung phones.The name you call it does not change it from Samsung. Quoting John 10:10, he assured the congregation that God will defeat all powers of Satan.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of an award of excellence, from the top echelon members of Nollywood who were on ground to present the award on the occasion of the 44th birthday anniversary of prophet Jeremiah.
Mr Emeka Rollas, who presented the award noted that prophet Jeremiah is a philanthropist per excellence who does the will of Christ in the end time. All the Nollywood crew who spoke concurred that God is using prophet Jeremiah to redeem humanity.
Amongst others, those who were present include Obi Madubiagwu, Prince Emeka Ani, Onyinye Okafor, Lilian Patrick, Remy Ohayanya, Unoroh Stephen, and Chinu Simon.
In his acceptance speech, prophet Jeremiah said “I dedicate this award to God Almighty who is the author of all good things”. He advised Nollywood actors and actresses to practice love and make sure they undergo deliverance after every movie, hinting that the role they play sometimes as native doctors or satanic agents needs spiritual cleansing after the drama.
Prophet Jeremiah also seized the opportunity of the birthday to put a smile on the faces of the family of Sunny Abulu who gave birth to little Jeremiah that was prophesied about before the service began, the prophet gave them N750,000 to welcome the little baby that is going to perform like Jeremiah when he comes of age. Mr/Mrs Comfort Abia Udoh from Akwa Ibom State who have been homeless for two years received N500,000. The family Of Mr /Mrs Juliet Ogbeta who slept in a kitchen for two years with her family of six, also got N500,000.
The magnanimous prophet of God also got the attention of the ushers led by Lincoln Fufuyin, who received N2,000 ,000 (Two Million Naira) as a balance for the payment of a bus the ushers bought for N3.1m.
It is pertinent to mention that mama Mrs Asetu Fufeyin the mother of the prophet was also in attendance. Mr Pius Ovwije DESOPADEC Commissioner, Mr Asupa Peter Forteta ;Delta State commissioner for youth development, Chief Boro Lala ; Chairman Elders council ,Mr Fezi Fufeyin Vice Chairman Elders Council, Pastor Anderson Emiebor, Pastor Goddy, Pastor Promise Bouy, and many more of the sons of the prophet, visitors from Cameroon, South Africa, Germany, UK, US, and lots more were present during the ceremony.
War on words ensued recently on Facebook as followers of Prophet T.B Joshua and Warri-based cleric, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, trade words following a post on T.B. Joshua’s Facebook page where the general public was warned to beware of a man who is going about calling himself the first son of T.B Joshua
The post reads in part: “Our attention has been drawn to several articles circulating online in which an individual named Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is referred to as the “first son” of Prophet T.B. Joshua. We wish to inform the general public that The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Emmanuel TV and Prophet T.B. Joshua are not affiliated with this individual or his ministry.”
Reacting to the post, followers of Fufeyin frowned at the allegation, insisting that the Ijaw prophet and founder of the Warri-based Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry has never addressed himself as the first son of TB Joshua.
“Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is a man of love; shows love and respects all ministers of God including Prophet TB Joshua.
“We believe and practice love, humility, sacrifice and unity”, one of Fufeyin’s followers fired back.
Also, reacting to the post, Fufeyin, feeling insulted, stated that he has neither referred to himself as the first son of Prophet T.B Joshua nor paid tithe to him as his spiritual godfather.
Addressing the matter last week, the Ijaw prophet said while he respects and loves T.B Joshua as a prophet of God, he has never operated under his shadow.
He once attributed the reason people refer to him as “T.B Joshua Junior” to the miracles God is using him to perform.
“They said I am calling myself the first son of T.B Joshua. When you read my interviews, I have never called myself the first son of T.B Joshua.
“I am the General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, and T. B Joshua is the General Overseer of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations.
“How then can I refer to myself as the first son of somebody? It means I am demoting myself.
“It also means I don’t know what I am doing. First sons are people who submit their tithes, and other things to their fathers.
“But I have never submitted anything to T.B Joshua. I never paid my tithe to Synagogue. I have sons and even grand children.
“I read it in the media. The press guys were the ones that called me the first son of T.B Joshua,” he said.
He added: “When I was coming up in the ministry, they called me Niger Delta T.B Joshua, Ijaw T.B Joshua, Warri T.B Joshua, T.B Joshua Junior.
“I told them categorically that I am neither junior or Warri T.B Joshua but I am Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin. I just love the man and I love other men of God.
“But surprisingly, while I was in a crusade abroad, this announcement surfaced on T.B Joshua’s Facebook page that I am calling myself the first son of T.B Joshua.
“When I looked at it, I reckoned that it was not T.B Joshua that wrote it. I hold the media responsible for that write-up which was targeted at capturing peoples’ attention”.
