In a word Glutathione and Vitamin C.
I am constantly asked about how to get fair and about Glutathione.
Obviously, Indians are obsessed with fair skin and so I thought of answering this.
But honestly, I could never answer this question as I had not used Glutathione ever.
So, I started using Glutathione soap as an experiment to see if it really works because all the studies on Glutathione have really small sample sizes and all the papers suggested that sample size is too small and it is important to increase the sample size for a definitive result.
So, I stopped using my favorite face wash for some time and started using Glutathione soap.
A little History, Glutathione is an antioxidant that was used in cancer patients, patients with liver toxicity etc but it was seen that these people started experiencing whitening of the skin.
So, this accidental finding made Glutathione a new option for skin whitening. But it is not FDA approved for Skin whitening.
How does it work?
Our skin has Melanin which is a natural skin pigment. Special skin cells called melanocytes make melanin. So, the more Melanin we have, the darker is our skin color.
More sun exposure we have, Eumelanin increases in our body which causes browning discoloration of the skin AKA Tanning of skin.
Now, Glutathione works by inhibiting Tyrosinase enzyme which helps in Melanin production. By inhibiting this enzyme melanin production is stopped and skin becomes fair.
Did it work?
Yes, it worked on my skin and I got rid of my tan. I also found that it was able to get rid of the patchy color of my skin and this soap made my skin tone more even. Glutathione can make your skin whiter but it's not a permanent solution and you need to use it continuously to retain results. I have been using it for the last 3 months and it is a good skin whitening and anti-aging agent. I did not experience any side effects on my skin with the use of this product.
Tomatoes is useful because”:
Acts like astringent: It can help control oil level in your skin, thus helping reduce chances of blackheads and whiteheads
Helps to fight free radicals in the body
Helps solving problems with with ageing and damage.
Has pore shrinking abilities and tightens to reduce chances of acne and other skin problems.
If you want to use it though, be sure to consult a dermatologist and make sure it is safe to use on the skin

Our post is for help people who suffer from blotchy complexion, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, and age spots. This post would help you brighten up your skin and clear away patchiness and any discoloration. Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone are caused by excessive melanin production and deposition on the skin. Melanin is the pigment that decides the color of our skin, if there’s less melanin, the skin is usually pale and white. The amount of melanin in our body is decided by genetic factors. Some treatments and procedures can only bring in a little change, but sometimes, excess melanin production is triggered by exposure to sun and to chemicals. In such cases, skin can become darker than usual and blotchy in complexion. In this post, we are going to tell you in detail “how to get fair skin permanently.”

Glutathione inhibits the activity of tyrosinase and slows down melanin production in the body. Regular use of glutathione lightens the skin tone considerably. Most doctors use glutathione injections on patients to lighten their skin tone and some doctors do prescribe oral glutathione tablets. In both cases, in fact in all cases, a certified doctor should be consulted and their permission sought for any kind of treatment. Self medication is extremely dangerous and not at all advised. Is tomato harmful for face?
Things to consider
Although your first thought of tomato may be as food, many people use it as part of their skin care routine, claiming its strength in helping the skin on your face by:
clarifying
healing
evening skin tone
rejuvenating
reducing oil
tightening
What does the research say?
Tomatoes are considered a healthy food, containing vitamin C and other antioxidants.
These include:
beta carotene
lutein
lycopene
magnesium
potassium
vitamin A
vitamins B-1, B-3, B-5, B-6, and B-9
Although anecdotal evidence suggests that tomato is beneficial for your skin via topical application, there’s little clinical evidence to support those claims.
According to a 2012 reviewTrusted Source published in the journal Dermato-Endocrinology, clinical studies have focused more on consumption than topical application.
How might tomato benefit your skin?
Advocates of using tomato on your face suggest that it should be part of your regular cleansing, toning, and moisturizing skin care routine.
Beyond anecdotal evidence, there’s some scientific reasoning behind claims that tomato’s ingredients could aid in:
exfoliation
fighting cellular damage
moisturizing
reducing sunburn risk
It may aid in exfoliation
Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells to improve the health and appearance of facial skin.
Promoters of natural healing suggest that the pectin and flavonoids in tomatoes have cleansing and antioxidant ingredients that can complement skin texture, as indicated in a 2011 study of herbal exfoliants.
It may help fight cellular damage
According to a 2012 articleTrusted Source published in the journal Dermatology Research and Practice, free radicals can damage skin cells. This can increase your risk for premature signs of aging.
Advocates of natural healing suggest that the antioxidants in tomatoes — such as vitamin C and lycopene — can help fight free radicals. There is, however, no clinical evidence that the topical application of tomato provides these antioxidants for your skin.
It may have a moisturizing effect
There are both commercial treatments and traditional remedies for treating the itching, flaking, and cracking of dry skin.
According to a 2012 studyTrusted Source published in the Journal of Dermatological Science, a decreased level of potassium may contribute to dry skin in people with a type of eczema known as atopic dermatitis.
Since tomatoes are a good source of potassium, many natural healers suggest that the application of tomato directly to the skin will address dry skin issues.
There’s no scientific evidence, however, that shows that the topical application of tomato will provide the same benefits as a traditional moisturizer.
It may help reduce your risk of sunburn
A 2006 studyTrusted Source published in the journal Photochemical and Photobiological Sciences concluded that consuming lycopene-rich plants — such as tomatoes — could contribute to lifelong protection against harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
During the 12-week study, researchers observed decreased sensitivity among volunteers who had eaten tomato-derived products rich in lycopene.
It was unclear, however, if the results from consumption could be replicated with topical application directly on your skin.
Are there any risks to consider?
There’s no question that tomatoes can be a healthy addition to your diet, but if eating them results in an allergic reaction, so will applying them to your face.
The sensitive skin on your face might also have a reaction to the fruit’s high natural acidity, resulting in:
redness
rash
itching
Before using tomato on your entire face, do a patch test. Pick a small area of skin and apply the tomato. Monitor the area for the next 24 hours for signs of an adverse reaction — such as redness, itchiness, and swelling — before performing a full facial application.
The bottom line
There isn’t enough clinical research to fully support the anecdotal benefits associated with topical facial application.
If you’re thinking about adding tomato to your skin care routine, talk to a dermatologist or other healthcare provider to learn how it might affect your specific skin type and its overall condition.

Can tomato lighten underarms?
Are dark underarms the reason you have stopped wearing your favorite sleeveless top or going out for a swim? There is always a solution to the problems we face in our day-to-day lives. However, before moving on to the various remedies that can help you reduce discoloration of your underarms, let us understand the causes behind the problem. Very often, dead cells accumulate in the underarm area and cause darkness. These dead cells are a result of non-exposure of the skin in that area. A lot of us also use skin products that contain chemicals, which we are unaware of. A common example is deodorants, the content of which tends to react with our skin, causing discoloration. Acanthosis Nigricans is a medical condition that occurs in individuals who are overweight. It can also occur in those who suffer from gland disorders. It results in a velvet-like layer under the arms which darkens the skin.Shaving is another major factor of underarm darkening because while shaving, the hair is cut right above the surface of the skin, making the area look dark. According to Dr Deepali Bhardwaj, a renowned Dermatologist, "certain causes associated with underarm darkening include Friction Dermatitis, which leads to eczema, itching and skin pigmentation. Bleaching is another reason. Bleach has ammonia that can cause acid burns. Chronic bleaching of the underarms further increases skin pigmentation. Deodorants contain nitrium in them, which cause a change in the skin, invoking sweat allergies and so on. Darkening is also associated with genetic factors. Diabetes leads to skin darkening as well."There are several easy-to-find home remedies that you could use if you are troubled with dark skin in the underarm area.
Here are some remedies that may help you get rid of dark underarms and attain even skin tone:1. Precautions to Take While Using Homemade Face Masks to Bleach Your Skin
Homemade face packs are a great way to brighten your skin without a hassle. However, you may have a few things to consider before you make one. Listed below are a few precautions you must take before applying homemade skin bleach.
Do not apply any homemade pack if your skin is burnt, has eczema, is very dry or has a wound.
It is best for people with sensitive skin not to use any package containing citrus fruits. In case you do, use the citrus juice in small quantities.
Although all homemade skin bleach packs are absolutely safe, it is best to use them only once a week or once in 15 days. Too much could ruin your skin.
If you are allergic to an ingredient, avoid using it in your face pack.
If the homemade bleach irritates your skin, wash it off with water immediately.
Your first time trying the homemade bleach pack? Do a patch test on a portion of your skin. If it does not irritate the skin, apply it all over your face.
Avoid bleaching straight after threading or waxing.
Do not go out in the sun after you have used the pack.
While chemical bleaches show an immediate result, homemade bleach packs may take more time and applications before you get to see your skin whiten. However, if you have the patience, there can be nothing better than a homemade facial bleach. It is cost-effective and a safe way to get glowing skin.

Skin lightening treatment aims at reducing the excessive melanin content in your skin. Since the accumulation of melanin causes dark spots and uneven skin tone, a treatment to reduce it can give you a lighter complexion than before. A skin lightening treatment can help minimise melasma, sun damage, freckles and other types of marks.
Myth & Facts About Skin Whitening Treatment
Most people misunderstand skin lightening treatment to be equivalent to skin whitening or fairness solutions. According to expert dermatologists, skin whitening treatment is a popular myth. Skin whitening or altering the concentration of melanin with the use of harsh chemicals is unsafe and stems from social prejudices. It is a popular misconception and dermatologists strongly rule out the possibility of fading your complexion beyond the natural one.

Best Skin Lightening Treatment Options
Different kinds of treatments are available to achieve skin lightening results. According to your needs, you can go with a skin lightening procedure on a specified body part or a face lightening treatment. Some of the most common skin lightening treatments are as follows –
Chemical Peel For Lightening Skin: In this procedure, a dermatologist will recommend the application of a solution containing alpha-hydroxy acids extracted from natural sources to exfoliate the damaged upper layers of the skin. It helps to eliminate the melanin buildup and allows healthy tissue to appear on the surface. On the basis of the concentration, chemical peels can be of three types – light, medium, or deep. A chemical peel is a gentle option to lighten discoloured skin by effectively reducing facial blemishes, tan, dark spots and even out the skin tone. Chemical peels are suitable for a facial skin lightening procedure.
Laser Treatment For Skin Lightening: While performing the laser treatment, the doctors use a concentrated beam of light to minimise the melanin buildup in the target area. The immune system of the skin eventually removes the remnants of the pigment. As a result, the skin appears healthier and brighter than before. The regenerated skin is flawless. Also known as laser peel or lasabrasion, the laser treatment helps in effectively reducing concerns like skin pigmentation, dark spots, sun tanning and dull skin. Laser treatment is safe for brightening the skin tone of both the face and specific body areas.
Neelam Dhillon’s story about laser skin lightening treatment at Oliva Skin & Hair Clinic:
Skin Lightening Injections: Skin whitening injections contain glutathione, a skin lightening agent that minimises the production of an enzyme called tyrosinase, which increases the melanin levels. As per popular perception, these injections can detoxify the body, protect the skin from harmful UV rays and enhance your skin tone. The “Natural Medicine Comprehensive Database” classified the use of this injection in the “possibly safe” category, though it does not comment on its efficacy as a skin-lightening agent. Some studies suggest a high dosage of glutathione is unsafe and may cause severe side effects. Currently, there is a paucity of evidence-based studies to ascertain the results of glutathione. Although selected skin clinics offer these injections, it is advisable you make an informed decision.
Skin Lightening Products: You can find a wide range of chemical-based skin lightening products in the market. Most of them have ingredients like azelaic acid, arbutin, retinol, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, lactic acid and kojic acid. Some of these chemical components are popular for their bleaching properties which might lighten your skin immediately but will not offer lasting results and might cause some side effects. These are not advisable for long term use.
Arbutin: It is a popular ingredient in many skin lightening products and anti-pigmentation solutions. It helps lighten the colour of the skin and is extremely effective for reducing freckles, stretch marks, as well as ageing spots.
Skin Whitening Surgery: Today, there is a massive interest in availing medically invasive procedures to treat pigmentary concerns. However, “skin whitening surgeries” do not exist. Performed by experienced and qualified dermatologists, most of the skin lightening treatments like laser toning and chemical peels are safe, effective, non-invasive and in-clinic procedures that require no hospitalisation.

Skin Whitening Treatment Cost In India
The average cost of skin lightening treatment ranges from Rs 1,800 to Rs 5,500 for chemical peels, Rs 4,000 to Rs 30,000 for laser treatment and Rs 6,000 to Rs 40,000 for skin lightening injections. Similarly, the cost of fairness creams can range between Rs 200 and Rs 2,000.
Why Do The Skin Lightening Treatment Prices Vary?
The cost varies because skin lightening treatments require customisation based on the individual skin type.
The size of the target area is crucial in determining the price of the procedure. A treatment performed on the face is less expensive than one recommended for a larger area of the body like arms, legs or back.
Other factors such as the geographical location of the clinic, the expertise of the dermatologists and therapists, equipment used, modality selected, and the number of sessions required also determine the overall expenditure.

The effects of skin lightening treatment can last between a few months to a few years.
Dermatologists recommend the following tips to maintain the results of any skin lighting treatment:
Leading a healthy lifestyle
Using a good sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful sun rays
Following a basic skin-care routine
Opting for maintenance sessions from time to time

How can I get Korean skin?
When beauty editors are on the lookout for new up-and-coming trends, we draw from Korea and Korean women. Think about it: Korea gave us BB creams, sheet masks, and cushion compacts. The reason we hold these women in such high regard when it comes to beauty is that they have the flawless sort of skin we can only dream of. Seriously, we’re talking real-life complexions that look like they have been Photoshopped with expert precision and without a ton of makeup. In fact, Korean women are big fans of the no-makeup makeup look. So, we set about trying to uncover the skincare and makeup secrets that Korean women rely on for that sheeny glow, or as they call it, mul-gwang. To get the inside scoop, we called on three beauty bloggers who know more about Korean beauty than most. Keep scrolling for a Korean guide to getting the best skin of your life…
1. Use Pimple Patches for Blemishes
“Korean women are more susceptible to pigmentation, so they take extra care to protect their skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays. They wouldn’t leave the house without applying sunscreen,” says Charlotte Cho, founder of Soko Glam, a website that sells the best of Western and Korean beauty products, and author of The Little Book of Skin Care ($18). “They’re careful to avoid direct sunlight by using hats, umbrellas, and gloves whenever necessary!”
When it comes to skincare, Cho says Korean women use “natural skin brighteners such as rice extracts, vitamin C, and licorice, as well as exfoliators. For stubborn brown spots, they will visit the dermatologist to lighten the brown spots using lasers.”
As for blemishes, U.S.-born Sheryll Donerson, who spent two years living in South Korea and is the founder of the blog The Wanderlust Project, tells Byrdie, “When I taught at a middle school in Korea, all my girls would wear these pimple patches on their skin to help with their spots. They are absolutely genius! I only wear them at night, but if you’re looking for a way to get rid of a blemish fast, I swear by them. I love the COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch ($5) and the Missha Speedy Solution Acne Patch ($5).”
2. Do Deep Cleanses Before Applying Makeup
For Cho, cleansing is the cornerstone of a better-than-great complexion. “Cleansing is important because it’s the excess oil, dirt, and bacteria on your skin that can lead to premature aging, dark spots, and breakouts,” she says. “It’s incredibly important to be proactive and keep your skin clean. Without a clean base, makeup will also not look good!”
Cho triple-cleanses daily and she shared her step-by-step guide with us.
i rub Tomato slice every night & look what happened to my face,Tomato Facial Scrub+Tomato face mask
First cleanse: Use a cleansing tissue to gently remove stubborn impurities on your skin, paying close attention to the sensitive eye area and neck.
Second cleanse: Massage an oil cleanser into your skin to remove oil-based impurities. Rinse.
Third Cleanse: On a wet face, add a cleansing foam to remove water-based impurities. Rinse and pat dry.
Donerson reveals that powder cleansers are a big trend in Korea at the moment. “I love them! They are great to travel with or throw in your gym bag, as you don’t have to worry about it spilling everywhere or any liquid restrictions at the airport.”
For a different take on this trend, try Bare Minerals Skinsorials. Mix. Exfoliate. Smooth. ($18).
3. Add Face Oil to Your Foundation for Improved Hydration
“[Mul-gwang] is all about hydration! Using mists, sheet masks, and layering your moisturizer will help you achieve that radiant, dewy, glow,” Cho says. “There are also several eye creams and primers out there infused with pearl extracts that will diffuse imperfections and catch the light to get your skin looking luminous which definitely helps.”
Morgan Stewart, a Korean-American and founder of the website and vlog The Beauty Breakdown, says, “If you have dry skin, try mixing a face oil or serum in with your foundation.”
4. Invest in a More Extensive Skincare Routine
“I know it’s intimidating and can seem a bit pricey, but it’s worth the investment in both time and money! Layering is the biggest game-changer in my opinion,” says Stewart. “Most people just stick to a face wash and moisturizer. However, never overlook the importance of steps like exfoliating, toning, essence, and sleeping packs!”
Not sure how to layer? Watch Stewart’s daily skincare routine below:
5. Tap Your Skin, Don't Rub It
“I’m a big fan of gently tapping, rather than rubbing my skincare in. Not only is it more gentle, it feels like a ritual of sorts. I also recommend putting your sheet masks into the fridge for an extra refreshing treat at night!” suggests Donerson. Lightweight, water-like skin products such as essences can be tapped into the skin, as well as the more familiar serums and moisturizers.
6. Use a Product With Snail Mucin
“If I had to choose a Korean product, it would be the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($15),” says Donerson. “It’s literally 96% snail mucin, and it does an amazing job of getting rid of any skin irritation, while being extremely hydrating. It makes my skin glow like no other.”
For the uninitiated, mucin is the slime excreted by snails when they are stressed (so not one for vegans). “There is anecdotal evidence that proteins in snail slime have anti-aging benefits, and clinical trials have looked at that, as well as reversal of sun damage, and shown improvement,” New York plastic surgeon Matthew Schulman told the The New York Times. “Snail slime is not going to help deep folds, but it will improve skin texture and quality.”
7. Go Lightweight for Dewy Skin
“The Korean dewy skin look is one of my favorite Korean trends,” Donerson says. “Dewy skin is youthful and more realistic.”
To achieve the Korean dewy glow, Cho suggests starting with a radiance-boosting primer like IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer ($28).
To keep things dewy, Donerson recommends a BB cream, BB cushion, or any lightweight foundation. The key is to use something lightweight, so your skin still looks natural.
Makeup is a great way to enhance gwang, especially if you have oily skin that can’t handle too much skincare. “Add the glow with a light liquid highlight,” Stewart says. “Son & Park has this cube highlighter that is excellent!”
To boost the dewy look even further, Donerson suggests applying a shimmery highlight to eyelids and cheeks. It may not be Korean, but we love the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Beige ($48) for adding a highlight to the face.
Can you mix tomato and milk?
When I made a tomato soup the instructions said heat the canned tomatoes and heat the milk. Add the hot tomato mixture to the hot milk. That seemed to curdle it, so I tried putting a little baking soda in the tomatoes first. That seemed to produce some congealed white stuff in the soup.
Also…
How do I properly put both tomatoes and milk together. I would like to be able to make this simple soup as it can be quite nice once you add the salt and pepper and parsley. The recipe was from the cook book Food that Really Schmecks, a Menonite cook book. I would appreciate any advice that you can come up with to solve my dilemma.- Ellie (4/10/02)
Answer:
The protein in milk is likely to clump together when it is exposed to acid or salt, causing curdling. There are a number of things one can try to help avoid this situation:
For cream of tomato soup, try adding the tomato to the milk rather than the opposite, having both the milk and tomato hot when they are combined.
NOTE: The tomato and milk should be exactly the same temperature when combining. Do not boil the milk (this in itself can cause curdling). A dd the hot tomato sauce very slowly to the milk, stirring constantly.
Adding baking soda to tomato mixture.
1. Try putting ingredients in a blender and process at high speed until well blended.
2. Another method might be to thicken either the tomato juice or milk before they are combined.

Due to the environment being so polluted, especially if you live in a metro city, your skin absorbs a lot of dirt and oil each time you step out. Your skin becomes uneven, and the dirt clogs the pores. It is not easy to get rid of this with just regular cleansing, you have to properly exfoliate your skin. Tomatoes are full of enzymes that make them great as an exfoliator that helps in getting rid of dead skin cells. You needn’t even worry if you have sensitive skin, as tomatoes are mild on the skin.
Tip: Apply tomato pulp directly on your face and rinse it after a while for the best effect.
2. Reduces Oiliness

Tomatoes do a great job of combating this and reducing the oil content from your skin.

Acne is an extremely common condition with people across age groups. It is usually caused by dirt or bacteria that are trapped in the skin or even oil getting stuck in the pores. This leads to the skin on your face having many breakouts, on top of this if you are someone that is prone to popping your pimples, it could cause your skin to even have more problems. Tomatoes contain vitamins A, C, and K, and also have acidic properties that help in maintaining a proper pH level for your skin and have deep cleansing properties. Using tomatoes may not be enough to cure the root cause of your acne if it runs deep, but it surely assists in minimizing it and preventing breakouts.

This makes your skin appear lifeless and dull. Luckily, tomatoes are very rich in Vitamin B. Vitamin B and its complexes have anti-ageing properties and are very helpful in fighting off the visible signs, and return that youthfulness to your skin.

Can I use tomato and sugar on my face everyday?
Tomato is one vegetable that is actually a superfood. It doesn’t just help with gut health but it also is GREAT to apply on the skin. Tomatoes are enriched with vitamins A, K and C. Most of these vitamins are what you would find in most of the beauty products on your shelves. These vitamins produce healthy skin. The acidity does a majestic job at reducing the size of your pores and even the clogging and of course help with acne. It also contains lycopene which has antiageing properties and also works against free radicals that hinder and pollute healthy skin cells. Lycopene secretion increases when you cook the tomato, so you should definitely be having a lot more tomato soup.
While the soup is brewing, so to speak, here are 3 easy DIY recipes that you can use to make the most out of tomatoes.

Benefits of Tomato and Sugar For Face
Facial scrubs exfoliate the face and are a vital part of a skincare routine. Sugar and tomatoes make an ideal skin combination for use in sugar scrubs, and it is probably the easiest DIY homemade skincare product ever.
My decision to become a beauty therapist many moons ago was strongly influenced by my father being involved in the beauty industry. As a young girl, I loved the packaging and smells of all the wonderful cosmetics, and from then, I was hooked on beauty products.
Skincare and facials became part of my life. Being older and wiser, I have now looked to nature and using ingredients we often have in the kitchen cupboard. This means I can now have my own spa treatments and facials that cost a fraction of salon prices.
Homemade beauty products cover a wide spectrum of delicious, nutritious ingredients that are used to make a variety of products. They are more beneficial to the skin, easily bought and save you money. How cool is that?

Why Exfoliation Is Important and How Often You Should Do It
The word scrub may lead to confusion and give you the impression you scrub the face raw. This is not the case, and it is important to remember when using a sugar facial scrub.
Exfoliating the face will give bright, plump and smooth, glowing skin. A facial scrub or exfoliating scrub primarily removes the build-up of dead skin cells. In a nutshell, if the dead cells are not removed, the skin looks sluggish and uneven in colour and will feel rough to the touch. As we age, cells are regenerated at a slower rate. By exfoliating regularly, blood flow is increased, which gives a more youthful appearance with fresh cells visible.
Knowing how often to use this sugar and tomato scrub will be determined by a number of factors.
Age: Older skins tend to be less oily and have a thinner epidermis (outer layer of the skin) than younger skins, and therefore do not need to use this scrub as often. Once or twice a week is sufficient for mature skin.
Skin Type: Oily skins should exfoliate up to three times a week, dry skins need only once or twice a week, combination skins should do so twice a week and sensitive skins should do it only once a week
Supplies: As you only need a few ingredients, make sure you have a supply that will not be used up during the week.
You will be able to gauge how often to use it once you try it.
Note: Never use more than three times a week.
As with any lotions and potions, watch for skin reactions or allergies and stop using immediately if you experience any signs. Do not use if you have a known allergy to sugar or tomatoes.
Tomatoes are great ingredients for creating your own natural skin care products.

Sugar acts as the main scrub part, removing the dead skin cells and regenerating fresh new ones.
Tomatoes are extremely rich in the potent antioxidant lycopene, which is mostly found in tomatoes or tomato-based products such as tomato ketchup and tomato puree. The tomato has tiny particles, and when applied to the face, the particles are easily absorbed through the skin.
When combined with the sugar, the tomato pulp is crushed, more lycopene is released and the new fresh skin will absorb antioxidants faster, eliminating free radicals that harm the skin.
This facial scrub will also help diminish fine lines and wrinkles around the forehead, eyes and mouth, which start appearing in our 30s, or earlier in some cases. The first signs of aging are generally something many of us dread. But fear not, as the skin will have a more youthful appearance and can easily be maintained at home.
The most important step after the facial scrub is moisturising. This will rehydrate the skin and bring nourishment to the newly regenerated cells. Moisture is locked into these cells, which will give the skin a more youthful appearance.
How to Make a DIY Tomato and Sugar Face Scrub
Cleanse your skin beforehand and remove all makeup. Pop on a headband to keep the face clear of hair.
Ingredients
1 medium or large tomato (green stalk intact)
1–3 tablespoons sugar (granulated)
Tools
Sharp knife
Chopping board
Side plate
Facial brush (optional)
Instructions
Dampen the skin.
Cut the top of the tomato off. You will need the top, as this will be the scrubber pad. So do not cut the top too thinly.
Put the sugar on the side plate, and spread it a little with the back of the spoon.
Get your tomato top and dip it in the sugar. Twist it around in the sugar to get an even coating.
Start on the forehead and gently scrub in a small circular motion. Move down to around the outer eye area (avoiding eyelids and under the eye area), and move over the face, nose, mouth, chin and neck. A facial brush may be used to go over the face as an extra benefit.
Relax for 10 minutes, and eat the other part of the tomato.
Rinse off with tepid water.
Pat the skin dry and apply your moisturiser.
By incorporating this facial scrub into your weekly skincare, you will not only start to feel the benefits to your skin, but you will see the results too! A tomato and some sugar- it couldn’t be easier. So give it a try!

Tomato and sugar... mmmmm could've been sounding delicious and good to eat hehehe. Kidding aside, they seem really refreshing for the face. Which scrub is best for whitening?
Glow from head to toe with a whitening body scrub! Made with gentle but effective ingredients, your skin will be smoother and lighter — yes, even stubborn secret dark spots like inner thighs and armpits.
Why do we get dark areas on our skin? This is an occurrence that happens when the our skin gets “bruised” due to friction/pressure. For example, our thighs can darken as they chafe for long periods of time. This then creates hyperpigmentation against the skin causing it to look darker.
However, many sufferers of hyperpigmentation know themselves that it is extremely troublesome to treat it. It seems like no lotion or simple cream can do the job. That is unless you are using a specific scrub that targets and diminishes dark areas by “whitening” them when in turn, the scrub simply evens out your skin tone once more.
Therefore, got a dark spot? Beauty Insider is here to help you out of this pickle by listing out the best whitening body scrubs for you to try out!

Tips for Whitening Elbows, Armpits and Knees
Scrubs aren’t the only way to treat dark areas! Here are some ways to spot-treat dark elbows, armpits and knees.
5 Best Foods for Skin Whitening
Use a whitening or brightening serum. Any face serum that targets hyperpigmentation or dark spots can help lighten “intimate areas.” Since face products tend to have milder, dermatologist-tested formulas, you’re also less likely to get skin reactions.
Avoid chafing. Tight jeans or shirts can worsen dark armpits or inner thighs. It causes friction, which irritates the skin. Then sweat gets trapped and bacteria breeds! Prevent this by wearing comfy clothes made of breathable fabric, like cotton or linen.
Use a brightening body oil or body lotion. Body scrubs can dry out your skin. Restore moisture by applying lotion, or patting body oil into damp skin straight out of the shower.
Exfoliate at night. Exfoliating body scrubs are best used in the evening since newly-scrubbed skin can be more sensitive to the sun.

How can I get white skin in a week naturally?
We, as a country, are guilty of being obsessed with fair skin. While international fashion circuit is inviting dusky Indian models like Lakshmi Menon and tan beauties like Freida Pinto are gaining acclaim in Hollywood, our very own Bollywood is still portraying the ideals of fair skin. Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor. While such comparisons are ‘unfair’, one cannot blame people looking for a brighter glowing complexion simply due to the fact that each one of us has a different beauty ideal. A lot of fairness creams and lotions in the market promise fair skin within weeks but they do more harm than good. While lightening and brightening your skin, it is important to use natural ingredients so that your skin stays healthy over the years. Here, I have listed the best home remedies for getting fair skin quickly in 7 days.
The quickest home remedies to get fairer skin:
1. Chickpea flour mask
Chickpea flour, also known as ‘besan’ in Hindi, is an excellent exfoliant and removes old and dead skin cells. Mix it with rose water to get soft and moist skin. Alternatively, you can also mix it with milk. Milk contains lactic acid which is a proven lightener. Adding a pinch of turmeric helps to keep skin ailments like acne at bay. Turmeric also heals old scars. Chickpea flour mask makes your skin very soft and even makes you look younger! Follow this for a week to get a fairer and glowing you.
2. Curd mask
For all those who love eating curd for its pro-biotic properties, there’s good news. It is not just good for your stomach. Curd, like milk, contains lactic acid. As mentioned before, lactic acid is a lightener and helps to give you that fair skin. Simply applying curd on your face can make it glow. Like stated previously, you can add turmeric to this mask as well. Curd gives you an instant glow and makes your face look bright. Apply this face mask daily for a week to get fair skin.
3. Papaya mask
Papaya contains the enzyme ‘Papain’, which helps in attaining a lighter complexion. Papaya is the most popular ingredient in beauty products used in Korea and Japan. Papaya soaps are very popular in Philippines. A simple recipe for using this potent ingredient is to take some slices of papaya and mash them. Apply liberally on your face. This fruity paste smells good, too. After about 20-25 minutes, wash off. You will be able to notice a glow immediately. Do this daily for 7 days for fair skin.
4. Oatmeal mask
Oatmeal is healthy for the body. This is a well-known fact. However, oatmeal is also an excellent scrub and exfoliant. Take a handful of oatmeal in a bowl and add some cold milk to it. Mix well and apply this paste on your face. Slowly, scrub your face with this thick paste. Make sure that you do so with a gentle hand as scrubbing too hard can damage your skin. After 5-10 minutes of scrubbing, wash off. Wipe your face with a clean towel. Your skin will feel fresh and look fair. Its one of the best ways to get fair skin.
top-15-homemade-tips-to-get-fair-skin-in-7-days
5. Milk cream mask
Milk cream is an excellent moisturizer. This mask is especially useful for women with dry skin. Milk cream, also known as ‘malai’, again contains lactic acid like curd and pure milk. Apply liberally on face and wash off after 20 minutes. This mask will leave your skin extremely soft. Fairness in 7 days is an added advantage of this mask.
6. Crushed almonds mask
Almonds are considered as one of the healthiest foods in the world. These nuts are rich in vitamin e which helps keep the skin soft and supple. A simple ritual of soaking almonds in milk overnight and crushing them the next morning to make a grainy almond and milk paste can keep beauty woes away in giving you a clear snow white skin. This mix also acts as a scrub. What you can do is that you can apply this as a mask and before washing off, scrub your skin with the help of almond grains. This mask will not only give you fair skin but also remove dead cells.
7. Lemon mask
This is one of the easiest masks and the simplicity of this beauty ritual amazes me. Simple squeeze a lemon and apply the juice to your face. Leave for 15-20 minutes and voila- you get whiter and lighter skin in no time. However, two things must be kept in mind. Firstly, lemon is very acidic. Initially, you should not apply it for more than 2-3 minutes. You can increase the time with every passing day. Also, this mask may not be suitable for people with dry skin. I would say that this mask is best suited for oily skin but women with normal skin can also give it a try. The added bonus with this mask is that it helps clear old scars as well.
8. Sandalwood mask
The lovely fragrance of this mask will awaken your senses! Sandalwood has been an age-old ingredient in skincare and has been used by generations of Indian women. This mask is very gentle and is suitable for all skin types and helps you get a fair skin in just 7 days. It is also very soothing and is excellent for Indian summers when you want to apply something cool to your skin after a day under the hot glare of the sun! If you can get hold of a genuine sandalwood stick, you can grind it against a flat stone or a grind stone with some water to get a runny paste. You can also buy pure sandalwood powder and mix it with rose water (another cooling agent) to make a paste. Apply this on your face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with cold water.
9. Honey mask
This one is especially beneficial for mature women. Honey has antioxidant properties that help in getting rid of fine lines and also preventing future ones. Honey contains peroxide that helps in lightening the skin. Pure honey can be applied on its own and left on the skin for 15-20 minutes for a visibly fair skin.
10. Saffron mask
The women of Kashmir are known for their lily white skin. While climate does help in maintaining their fair skin, homemade recipes containing saffron or ‘kesar’ are very popular among the women of the valley. The purity of pure saffron can be testified by dropping a few strands of it in milk. If the milk turns golden or red, you can be rest assured that your saffron is real. To get the most out of this expensive herb, soak it in milk for half an hour and then, apply this milk on your face everyday for a fair glow in 7 days. Wash off after 15-20 minutes to get a bright and fair complexion.
11. Potato mask
Potatoes are rich in vitamin c and niacin, both effective skin lighteners. Simply grate a potato and add some milk to it. You can also mix them in a food processor to get a creamy paste. Use daily for best fairness results.
12. Fuller’s earth
Fuller’s earth or ‘multani mitti’ mask is beneficial for women with oily skin and one of the best ways to lighten skin fast. It is also a cooling agent. This summer must-have can be left on the skin for 15-20 minutes and washed off to get an oil-free look.
13. Orange peel
Dried orange peels can be grinded into fine powder and mixed with milk or rosewater. Oranges are rich in vitamin C that helps in skin lightening.
14. Apple mask
Apples contain maleic acid that helps lighten skin tone in a week. Mash an apple and add milk or honey as per your choice and leave on skin for some time. This fruit is rich in alpha hydroxy acids that help in brightening and lightening the skin.
15. Glycerin mask
Contrary to the popular motion, glycerin is not just a softener. It is very effective in skin lightening. This mask, however, is best suited for those with dry or oil skin.
These tips will not only help you achieve a fair look but also make your skin soft and blemish-free.

Do tomatoes remove tan?
Summers may mean lots of coolers and skimpy clothes but they also bring along with them a major tan, get rid of it to enjoy summers more
While some love a tan, for some others a tan just spells disaster and then starts the complex process of applying strange chemicals and doctor visits. Here are some home remedies that will take your tan off in a jiffy.
1. Lemon juice - While some suggest that you should not use lemon juice directly on face as it may ruin the delicate layer and dry it up, some others swear by its magical properties to make the darkest of tans disappear. It is however suggested that you dilute your lemon juice in a little water and then apply it on the face initially. Let it dry and wash it off with some cool water.
2. Tomato pulp - Tomatoes are great to eat during the summers but they also have tan removal properties that could put any facial cream to shame. Just apply the pulp of a tomato on the face and wash it off after 10-15 minutes. The effect isn't as instant as that of lemon, but its safer if you have very sensitive skin. Repeat this for a week.
3. Yogurt - A bowl of chilled yogurt and half a teaspoon of turmeric applied on the face will not only leave your skin dewy fresh but will also take that ugly tan off and even out the skin colour while providing it with moisture.
4. Potatoes - Raw potatoes rubbed onto the skin everyday will also help remove tan. Potato slices places over eyes also help remove dark circles and provide relief to tired eyes.

It contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) that act as a natural exfoliator i.e. it scrubs of the outer dead skin cells and exposes the lighter skin that lie beneath. The citric acid in the lemon is a mild bleaching agent which naturally whitens the skin.
Honey, this naturally available delicious product is a soother and moisturiser for dehydrated, dry, pigmented skin. It helps to undo the lemon's drying effect on the skin. It helps to keep the skin soft and smooth.
Steps to follow:
Squeeze 2-3 lemons in a bowl.
Take half a spoon of honey and add to the lemon juice in the bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of crushed oats to it.
Mix all of them well.
Apply this paste on your face. You can apply it on any other body part that you wishto lighten as well.
Let it stay on to the face for 15-20 mins.
Wash off with cool water. As you start to wash off the mask, move your finger tips gently in a circular motion. The crushed oats act as a scrub.
For dry skin:
For those who have dry skin, use cucumber to substitute the lemon juice.
Mix equal quantities of crushed cucumber and honey in a bowl.
Apply it on face and body.
After letting it stay for 15 minutes, wash it off with cool water.
For oily skin:
Mix 3 tablespoons of cucumber juice with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
Soak a cotton in the mixture and dab it on your face.
Leave it on for 2-3 minutes and then wash off with cool water.
Apple cider vinegar makes the skin firm and controls the oil. Cucumber gives the shine and glow to the skin.
Use this simple, under 5 minute quick and effective hacks twice a week and let the mirror reflect a fairer and glowing skin.

8 Natural Ingredients to Lighten Skin and Remove Dark Spots
ANGIE WOODSMAR 3, 2022

Here is a list of 8 ingredients from nature that are proven to really whiten the skin and offer an alternative to using synthetic products like hydroquinone creams.
Here is a list of 8 ingredients from nature that are proven to really whiten the skin and offer an alternative to using synthetic products like hydroquinone creams.
It’s hard to over-estimate the importance of taking care of your skin. It’s the body's largest organ and is the first line of defence against infection and disease. So, if you notice splotches, dark spots, or any skin pigmentation issues, you definitely want to do what you can to prevent further damage. The good news, though, is that you can fix a lot of pigmentation problems yourself. This article will go over eight home remedies you can use to lighten your skin and eliminate any unsightly blemishes or dark spots.
The Dangers of Skin-Whitening Treatments
Typically, hydroquinone and mercury have been the main ingredients used in skin-bleaching products. They work by inhibiting the production of melanin, the chemical that turns skin darker in the short term. However, recent research shows that in the long term these ingredients can be toxic. In fact, these ingredients can darken skin and cause premature aging if used for extended periods of time. Fortunately, science has discovered a number of natural whitening ingredients that work just as well as the synthetic ones, without the harmful side effects. These natural ingredients work by:
absorbing harmful UV rays from the sun.
inhibiting the production of melanin in the skin which causes the dark pigmentation.
8 Natural Skin-Whitening Ingredients
Citrus Whitening
Citrus Whitening
1. Citrus Extracts
Lemon juice and orange peels are natural skin bleaching agents. They contain lots of vitamin C, which plays an important role in producing the collagen fibres that help support your skin and keep it firm. When applied topically, Vitamin C has been shown to slow down hyperactive melanocytes. These are the cells that produce melanin in the basal layers of the skin which causes the skin to "tan" or become darker.
2. Kojic Acid
A white crystalline powder derived from a fungus in Asia, kojic acid has long been used in Japan as a natural alternative to hydroquinone and is very effective at reducing skin discoloration. According to the American Academy of Dermatologists, kojic acid has been clinically shown to reduce hyper-pigmentation. It works by inhibiting the function of tyrosinase, the protein responsible for producing melanin. It also acts as an antioxidant and is suitable for sun-damaged or sensitive skin.
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice Plant)

3. Licorice Extract
The juice derived from the roots of the licorice plant has long been used in Chinese medicine as a treatment for all kinds of skin ailments. In the early 1990s, Japanese scientists identified the compound glabridin in liquorice, which absorbs UVA and UVB rays and acts as a powerful and effective skin-whitening element.
A clinical study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry has shown that glabridin can inhibit the melanin-producing enzyme tyrosinase by as much as 50%–and without damaging skin cells! Licorice extract is effective in treating post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (including dark spots), can also be used to reverse the damage caused by acne scars, and contains anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe the skin and reduce redness.
Bearberry extract comes from the leaves of the plant, not the fruit!

4. Bearberry Extract
This ingredient comes from the leaves of the plant rather than the fruit. Bearberry or beargrape is used as an astringent in many cosmetics and contains Alpha arbutin, which is known to lighten the skin fast.
Arbutin has been proven to effectively lighten freckles, dark spots, and other skin discolourations. A study conducted by the pharmaceutical company Pentapharm found that a 1% Alpha arbutin concentration, revealed arbutin to have a "skin lightening effect” even greater than the same concentrate of hydroquinone.
Bearberry extract is also useful because it contains sun protection filters that may help to reduce the amount of “tanning” experienced after sun exposure, thereby slowing or reversing signs of aging on the skin.

5. Phyllanthus Emblica (Indian Gooseberry)
The extract from this plant contains antioxidants, has anti-microbial properties, and is rich with Vitamin C. Emblica extract protects the skin from sun damage and helps reduce hyperpigmentation.
A study on people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds conducted by Dr. Zoe Draelos, a clinical and research dermatologist, found that emblica contained powerful skin-lightening properties that were equivalent to, or better than, those achieved by conventional skin-lighteners like hydroquinone.
Emblica has been shown to protect the skin against oxidative stress, reduce wrinkles, regulate melanin production, and help the skin retain its natural moisture.

6. Gigawhite®
Gigawhite is a patented skin brightener that is effective in treating dark spots and melasma. It is derived from seven organically grown Swiss alpine plants, which include the peppermint plant, the common mallow and primula (cowslip).
Whiten skin with tomatoes to get glowing skin without blemishes or wrinkles permanently
Over one hundred Alpine plants were originally selected for their ability to inhibit tyrosinase (the enzyme responsible for melanin production). From those, the seven plants that exhibited the highest tyrosinase-inhibiting activity were used to create a natural skin-whitening agent, which is now widely used as an alternative to hydroquinone.
In clinical studies from pharmaceutical companies, Gigawhite was shown to markedly reduce the appearance of dark spots in Asian subjects aged 22-55. Over a 12-week period, the subjects tested showed a decrease of 24% in skin discoloration and an increase of 15.3% in skin lightening, with minimal to no skin irritation.
White Mulberry for skin whitening

7. White Mulberry Extract
The white mulberry tree (Morus alba) is native to China and has been found to have many health benefits. In addition to preventing heart disease, cholesterol, and diabetes, it can also help to whiten the skin.
White mulberry extract is a natural inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosinase. This enzyme triggers the production of melanin (brown pigment) in the skin.
According to the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, clinical trials have established that white mulberry and paper mulberry are both effective skin-whitening agents and are suitable for dermatological use. The study found that a 0.4% concentration of mulberry extract reduced tyrosinase activity by 50%.
8. Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
Vitamin B3, or Niacinamide, has been shown to reduce the production of melanin (pigment) and acts as an effective skin-lightening agent when added to skin creams. When applied topically, vitamin B helps the skin to retain moisture, making it feel softer and smoother and reducing fine lines.
natural-ingredients-that-really-whiten-skin
If you are looking to purchase a whitening cream to lighten your skin colour or reduce the appearance of dark pigmentation, check first to see if it contains some of the ingredients listed here.
One product I can recommend is Meladerm by Civant Skincare. It contains a large number of natural whiteners and my daughter used this to successfully treat areas of hyperpigmentation that were bothering her.
Be aware that products for skin lightening can be labelled as either "brighteners" or "whiteners." Generally, skin “brightening” products are designed to exfoliate your skin and may contain AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) that will help to remove dead skin cells and some of the excess pigmentation that has accumulated. Your skin will appear fresh and “brighter” but the ingredients may not actually whiten the skin.
Whitening ingredients are sometimes added to these skin brighteners, but not always.
Most products sold online will allow you to see a full list of the ingredients so have a quick look before you buy. The choice of ingredients will, of course, depend on the results you are hoping to achieve.
If you have any questions about how to use these ingredients or other suggestions for how to whiten your skin please put them in the comments below!

HOW TO LIGHTEN PIMPLE SCARS USING TOMATO & SUGAR DIY FACE SCRUB REVIEW | KAMATIS PAMPAKINIS
Answer: Apple cider vinegar contains citric acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (or AHA) which can be used to exfoliate and brighten the skin. However, research is limited on its use as a skin whitening agent. Some dermatologists believe it could irritate the skin due to the acidity. Apple cider vinegar has antifungal and antibacterial properties that can help with conditions like acne. Using AHA's can make the skin more photosensitive, so the skin could darken again when exposed to the sun.
Question: Are these ingredients meant for cream or soap?
Answer: These ingredients can be mixed into a base cream. You can find tutorials online that will show you how to make skin whitening cream at home.
Question: Can I use lemon juice, orange peel, honey and olive oil to clear black spots on my leg?
Answer: Yes, these ingredients are often recommended to help remove black spots on legs. The honey is good for scars too.
Question: Can I use carrot oil as my skin cream? What can I add to it to brighten my skin and what can I add to my black soap too?
Answer: Carrot oil is good for skin lightening. You can mix equal parts of lavender oil and carrot oil. Apply to a clean face and leave it to dry, about 20 mins, before washing off with warm or cold water.
You can add many ingredients to black soap. One recipe I found adds 100ml lime juice to 1 kg black soap. Leave for an hour before pounding the soap in a mortar. Then you can add 30g turmeric, 30g cinnamon, 25g licorice powder, 30g shea butter, 30 ml sweet almond oil, 30 ml carrot oil, 5ml vitamin E oil and a small amount of glycerin and honey.
There are many recipes on the internet.
Question: What can help in removing dark spots from an oily face?
Answer: Skin whitening treatments using lemon juice are good for oily skin. You could try an apple and lemon juice face mask. Mash up a sliced apple with a fork. Add lemon juice and mix into a paste. Apply the mixture to your face. Leave it for 30 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.
Question: Where can someone get the above ingredients for these skin remedies?
Answer: These ingredients are generally available from health food stores or online. I know Amazon has some of these.
Question: Can I add all the above listed natural ingredients when making a body lotion?
Answer: Yes you can add all these to a base lotion. It might need to be heated slightly for some of these ingredients to dissolve but dont overheat this.
Question: Can these ingredients be used in making soap?
Answer: Yes. You could add some of these ingredients when you make skin whitening soap at home. You will need to use a natural soap base like Pears soap which is grated and melted into a liquid form before you add other ingredients. There are some video tutorials online that demonstrate this. Search for "skin whitening soap recipe".
Question: how do I mix skin lightening ingredients to include preservatives?
Answer: You can see how to.mix skin whitening ingredients here: https://hubpages.com/style/How-To-Make-Skin-Whiten...
If your mixture contains water then it is best to add a preservative as bacteria and mold can grow quickly. Search for natural preservatives. If there is no water then you mixture should keep longer with just antioxidants mixed in.
Question: My pimples are now becoming dark spots. Please can you give me a solution?
Answer: You could try putting lemon juice on the dark spots or use a lightening cream like Meladerm to stop the production of melanin and help reduce the amount of brown pigmentation.
Question: How much does Meladerm cost?
Answer: The 1.7 oz bottle of Meladerm costs $49.99. That should last two to three months, depending how often you use it.
Question: Does this natural cream also work for pimples?
Answer: Yes, Meladerm can work to reduce the appearance of acne scars.
Question: Can I dissolve kojic acid in grapeseed oil and put it in my lotion as a skin lightener?
Answer: Although I haven't tried this I believe it would be fine to dissolve kojic acid in grape seed oil. You might need to heat it slightly so the kojic acid powder dissolves.
Question: With these 8 ingredients, in case I wanted to make my cream, what will be the measurements?
Answer: It depends on the amount of base cream you are using. For around 4 oz of base cream, I would use a teaspoon of kojic acid for example. You can see my recipe here that uses some of these lightening ingredients: https://discover.hubpages.com/style/How-To-Make-Sk...
Question: Are these ingredients that can lighten skin? Kojic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Vit.E, B3,&C.,Almond Oil, Castle Oil and Cetyl Alcohol?
Answer: Kojic acid, vitamin B and C are skin lightening ingredients. Almond oil can also help to brighten the skin. Propylene glycol is used in small amounts in cosmetics as a type of "antifreeze" to stop products melting at high temperatures or freezing. Glycerin and Castor oil are used to smooth the skin. Cetyl alcohol is used as a thickening agent. I have not tried mixing these to make a skin whitening cream.

Tomato for your face: FAQs
Q. I have a combination skin type. How should I use tomato for skincare in order to get maximum benefit?
A. As tomato helps balance pH levels, it works as a magical skincare remedy for all skin types. However, if you are using tomato in a face pack, you need to be cautious about the combination you opt for. Oils like olive or tea tree are likely to increase sebum production and make some parts of your skin super oily. On the contrary, a tomato-lemon face can lead to dryness. The trick is to go for non-oily moisturising agents like avocado and yogurt.
Tomato for your face: FAQs
Q. How do I know if tomato face packs are working for me or not?
A. Skincare is less about how good an ingredient or product is and more about how well it suits your skin. Sometimes even the variants that are supposed to suit your skin type doesn't work well. A patch test is necessary to discern if the tomato is that ingredient for you. If you notice any rash, redness or itchiness, you'll know that it's not the right remedy for you.
